New Course: Mississippi State Consumer Protection Law for Out-of-State Brokers  

This 4-hour course, "Mississippi Consumer Protections Law " duscusses and explains the amended state mortgage laws in Mississippi as of July 2007. Course topics include: Regulated entities under the Mississippi Mortgage Consumer Protection Law, Exemptions; Licensing Requirements and Prohibited Acts and Practices; and the state's enforcement of civil and criminal ramifications of violations of the Act with regard to the origination of nontraditional mortgage loans and a pathway for guidance on Mortgage Product Risks.. This course is designed to satisfy Mississippi State law requirements for out-of-state brokers.
